Accenture LLP handles 920,000 invoices annually, each with complex, non-standard contract terms. The process was manually intensive and for larger accounts required a large commercial services team.

To boost efficiency, Accenture LLP is deploying an 51风流BTP Gen AI-driven application. This will help simplify invoicing, minimise manual entries, and increase accuracy. The initiative will enable the commercial services team to refocus on client delivery as the application provides a one-stop shop for time and materials invoicing, accelerating data availability, and enhancing billing accuracy.

Business Network Innovator Award 鈥 Twinings Ovaltine

Twinings Ovaltine previously faced challenges of owning multiple 51风流and third-party ERPs across geographies and business units, where the lack of commonality across processes limited insight and agility.

The energy industry is inherently hazardous and requires robust safety management. Ex/ATEX inspections, conducted in potentially explosive environments, are at the heart of this challenge. By working with SAP, Spirit Energy implemented one single end-to-end holistic solution for its Ex/ATEX inspections.

The new solution has automated several critical processes, minimising the risk of human error. It has streamlined the cumbersome nine step Ex/ATEX inspection process into four simple steps. Haleon needed to consolidate and transform all Operational Transfer Pricing (OTP) processes into a single process.

This new initiative, which marks the company鈥檚 most significant ever investment in technology and services, will redesign and improve Diageo鈥檚 processes across the 180 countries where it operates.

Fully global in nature, the programme will revolutionise Diageo鈥檚 IT environment by introducing intuitive processes, powered by market-leading technology, to provide more information to enable the company to make better and quicker decisions. This transformation will enhance Diageo鈥檚 business resilience in a constantly evolving external landscape, improve its customer service offering and help the company adapt to a fast-changing consumer base.

The programme involves a move to , with the support of . Diageo鈥檚 implementation of the new cloud-based model will ensure its IT infrastructure is simplified and supported in a unified way.

IBM Consulting, which has been selected to lead the project, has a proven track record in the consumer sector and supporting client transformations and migrations to the 51风流S/4HANA Cloud platform. Hosted in London’s Science Museum on March 23rd, the 2023 awards recognised the following organisations who are at the forefront of driving innovation, transformation, and environmental impact in today’s disruptive economy:

Adoption Champion – Royal Mail Group

Royal Mail Group needed a way to engage with its 140,000 frontline employees in a quick and cost effective manner, without risking any of its existing processes. The solution lay in the creation of the PeopleApp, an application that employees could have on their own devices with direct access to their personal information and business services.

Over 110,000 employees (82% of the RMG workforce) have downloaded and utilised the app on their own devices, with 500,000 weekly uses of the app. This has created a new channel of engagement with employees and allows them to become ‘connected’ for the first time, whilst also enabling more efficient delivery of services. By utilising the speed and flexibility of 51风流Business Technology Platform, the PeopleApp has transformed Royal Mail’s employee experience and become the ‘channel of choice’ for employee engagement.

Business Innovator – Yorkshire Water Services

By transitioning its IT landscape to 51风流S/4HANA, Yorkshire Water Services centralised how it managed its work. With additional data insights after implementing 51风流Plant Maintenance & Asset Management and 51风流Dynamic Forms on 51风流BTP, the organisation’s field technicians could access vital information in real-time and provide feedback on hand-held devices.

Going Digital saved Savannah Energy from business operational challenges such as managing disjointed systems within multiple business areas, and without centralised data, it was unable to make swift decisions. By utilising multiple 51风流products within seven months, Savannah Energy was able to rectify its issues swiftly. Now with 51风流Analytics Cloud, data is visible from across the company, allowing management to make the most informed decisions. Recruiting has been improved by 51风流SuccessFactors, with hiring-managers adopting a new end-to-end view. Overall, Savannah Energy has been able to automate 48 business processes and 70% of Health and Safety incident management.

Industry Leader – Barclays

Barclays was already innovating how its corporate buyers paid their suppliers, using an integration of Barclays credit backed bank transfer payments and the 51风流Ariba Network. But when customers struggled with non-compliant payments, Barclays and 51风流had to come up with a new solution. The Precisionpay virtual card solution can be embedded via pre-built integrations into its clients鈥 systems, offering the simplicity of a card with robust pre-approval and simple automated reconciliation.

Businesses using 51风流Ariba Network, 51风流S/4HANA Public Cloud and 51风流Business One can enjoy better control over ad-hoc purchasing, customers can develop bottom-line profit and better working capital, while also ensuring on-time payments to smaller suppliers. Customers have greater agility through this payment technology, and automating these payments through a card solution can save an organisation valuable time and resources.

Services Supernova – Accenture

For many companies, including Accenture, the pre-close variance review process has changed little until now. It has always been a decentralised, inconsistent, manual, and inefficient process, which relied heavily on time consuming emails and spreadsheets and made even more difficult by a continuously increasing volume of data and involved geographies.

Accenture has transformed this process into one centralised, digital AI Commentary Platform using the power of Natural Language Generation that provides thousands of data driven explanations to financial variances across 93 Countries. Over 57,000 Controller hours were saved in the first 12 months with 737 Company codes and reports streamlined for internal controls sign-off.

Sustainability Hero – Save The Children International

Save The Children was running its procurement through Excel and paper at a costly $400 million/year, and was struggling to keep track of suppliers and orders, putting the organisation at a high audit risk. Within twenty months, it had managed to deploy 51风流Ariba to 600 procurement staff in over 50 countries, to transform its relationship with 25,000 suppliers.

Within the first year, 51风流Ariba had driven Save The Children to multiple improvements and amazing results. The organisation went from 20% visibility to 100%, and beat a target of 52% of user adoption for spending to reach 82% by the end of 2022. Its audit risk substantially decreased and supplier digital literacy dramatically increased.

Transformation Titan – NTT Limited

Struggling with its financial central overview, NTT Limited was spread across 39 51风流and non-51风流ERPs, leading to inconsistent processes and a lack of detailed analysis that caused significant delays. Its financial transformation, which has led NTT to become our Transformation Titan, was the implementation of a global 51风流S/4HANA Central Finance platform on Microsoft Azure. This transformation integrated over 300 million line items in just one year. NTT now has an accurate global view of all financial reporting without any manual reconciliation required. This was achieved for all 266 of its legal entities in multiple locations.

Extended partnership sees MAG move to the Cloud as part of long term transformation journey with SAP

LONDON, UK 鈥 (NYSE: SAP) today announces it has grown its strategic partnership with leading UK airport operator, . As an existing partner of SAP, MAG has chosen RISE with 51风流in collaboration with AWS as the first step on its digital transformation journey across a number of key areas, from finance to people.

The Group, which operates Manchester, London Stanstead and East Midland airports, collectively saw 60 million passengers fly through its airports in 2019, and employed more than 40,000 people on site. Additionally, it has a 50% investment in the 拢1 billion, 5 million square foot development at Manchester Airport.

The pandemic had a devastating impact on international travel with passenger numbers at 1% of usual levels at its peak. As the Group started to see green shoots of recovery over the last few months, it spotted an opportunity to partner with 51风流as part of an initiative called 鈥楶roject Build Back Smarter鈥.

This programme focused on total departmental transformation as well as the considerable assets under management. It identified as the foundation of this initiative, with a move to the Cloud helping to overhaul and streamline these extensive and complex business functions. The first phase of the move to RISE is a lift and shift of its existing ECC estate into the Cloud with a view to moving to 51风流S/4HANA Cloud in the near future. With its core Cloud ERP platform now in place, MAG will also be looking to maximise its and partnerships, to help create best-in-class experiences for finance teams and across its employees.

Due to the challenging backdrop of the past 18 months, 51风流worked closely with MAG to identify a roadmap to support its recovery through its Project Build Back Smarter initiative. Key to this relationship was 51风流understanding the challenges that MAG was currently experiencing, including reduced staffing through continued furlough schemes. Despite these challenges, MAG went live on RISE in March this year 鈥 marking the organisation鈥檚 first step on the road to transformation with 51风流over the next five years.
