Council becomes first UK public sector organisation to adopt RISE with 51风流via Back Office Systems framework
LONDON, UK – (NYSE: SAP) has today announced that has become the first UK public sector organisation to select to modernise its IT and technology infrastructure, accelerate its transformation into the cloud and deliver efficient services to its local residents.
From council services to fire and rescue, GCC is responsible for providing a range of services to a local population of around . But with pressure on public services increasing as a result of the pandemic, it needed to reset its digital strategy to align with modern expectations of services.
Through RISE with SAP, GCC identified that , and , will best drive the transformation of the county council鈥檚 core capabilities, including finance, human resources, procurement and manager/employee self-service. The county council will be able to deliver automated and simplified business processes and real-time data insights that will modernise its existing services and enable timely, efficient support to residents.
What鈥檚 more, RISE with 51风流is empowering the council to simplify its IT estate and fully embrace the benefits of the cloud. RISE with 51风流will be adopted via the public sector Back Office Solutions framework; providing an approved modernisation process for other industry organisations to follow.
