Due to the pandemic, the event was once again virtual, giving participants a fully digital experience broadcasted from New York City.

Hosted by Katie Linendoll, the summit provided viewers with insights and information from 51风流executives, industry insiders, partner-business colleagues, and partners from around the world. Attendees heard about market dynamics, SAP’s strategy, how 51风流continues to evolve the partner business, and the many opportunities with , , and .

Over the past year, 51风流experienced much growth across its cloud portfolio 鈥 with its highest growth in cloud in the last 10 years occurring in the first quarter of 2021. 51风流partners recognize the great opportunity in the cloud and were able to leverage RISE with 51风流and 51风流Business Technology Platform to drive customers鈥 business transformations in the cloud and capitalize on that opportunity.

Partners Focus on Growth Opportunity

Don Dickinson, founder and president of , shared this sentiment during the 51风流Global Partner Summit primetime show, noting growth potential with RISE with 51风流combined with 51风流Business Technology Platform, particularly after a year that drove so many customers to .

鈥淸RISE with SAP] allows you to innovate on 51风流Business Technology Platform on an ongoing basis once you get past that migration鈥nd it offers improved best practices that have been built in,鈥 he said. 鈥淭his is a huge opportunity, coming out of the pandemic with a workforce that is ready to transform businesses.鈥

Some partners have taken it a step further by working with 51风流to launch cloud offerings for their specific industries. Ginger Smith, director of Strategic Partnerships at Honeywell, discussed the recent launch of and how working with partners helps in bringing their platform to another level. After starting out with a few focus areas in real estate, Honeywell started expanding into indoor air quality and space utilization. Looking forward, Honeywell will leverage the 51风流partnership to introduce its next iteration of the solution.

Trust Is Key

Throughout the event, it was encouraging to see so many partners finding success with 51风流and with each other, thanks to the 51风流partner ecosystem. During the primetime show, 51风流Chief Partner Officer Karl Fahrbach discussed how 51风流partners value simplicity, speed, trust, and transparency. He noted that trust is key to any relationship, particularly the one between 51风流and its partners.

This was echoed by the yearly Partner Enablement Experience survey, which seeks partner feedback on the 51风流ecosystem. 鈥淚f you look at the survey results, you鈥檒l see that we鈥檙e doing very well in that partners are trusting SAP, but I think what is important to note is that 51风流is trusting partners as well,鈥 Fahrbach said. 鈥淲hen we commit to provide transparency of our road map 鈥 because we expect to deliver the Intelligent Enterprise with partner intellectual property and partner products 鈥 that means that we trust our partners.鈥

The 51风流Global Partner Summit event recapped some of the major highlights of the partner ecosystem, including the successes of our partners and SAP鈥檚 programs and engagements, and RISE with 51风流over the past several months. Building on this momentum, at SAPPHIRE NOW, attendees learned about new RISE with 51风流capabilities that will position 51风流partners for success in the future.

RISE with 51风流Offering Extended at SAPPHIRE NOW

On the heels of the 51风流Global Partner Summit event, 51风流kicked off its global SAPPHIRE NOW conference. Throughout the event, attendees could see the value of SAP鈥檚 partner ecosystem, with sessions from partners including NTT Data, Accenture, and Siemens, as well as customer sessions featuring partners like Deloitte, Skillsoft, Blackline, and many more.

SAPPHIRE NOW showcased the RISE with 51风流transformation packages for specific industries, which build on the January introduction of the RISE with 51风流offering. Since January, 51风流partners, like Dickinson + Associates, have taken RISE with 51风流to new heights, working to achieve revenue for their businesses and create value for their customers.

The RISE with 51风流transformation packages for specific industries provide business transformation as a service with five initial industry-tailored cloud solutions for retail, consumer products, automotive, utilities, and industrial machinery and components. Partners complement the RISE with 51风流industry packages by applying their industry know-how to create personalized solutions for the industries they specialize in. This broadens the reach of 51风流and its partners, leaving no industry untouched or unsupported by our joint expertise.

Recently, Accenture launched , a curated collection of RISE with SAP-compatible resources and services that enable business transformation across industries. SOAR with Accenture bundles business transformation capabilities and assets to help companies plan for, implement, and manage RISE with 51风流projects. We are working with Accenture to develop a portfolio of ground-breaking industry solutions that span multiple industries, including utilities, oil and gas, defense, and manufacturing 鈥 among others.

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), one of our strategic partners, recently launched , a consulting-led framework that takes a holistic and measurable approach to modernize processes and enhance user experience. What Is 51风流Business Technology Platform?

The COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent pressures on the global supply chain demonstrate even more urgently how important it is for companies of all sizes to digitally transform their business. Today鈥檚 businesses need to be able to adapt quickly to volatile markets and changing business requirements. For this, they need a modern technology platform that enables integrated applications and processes, helps users create value from data, and supports easy extensibility and ecosystem access while offering development agility and speed.

Value-added resellers can package data, analytics, workflow, and other automation content as accelerators to differentiate their businesses and drive new revenue streams. Services partners can continue to maintain ABAP practices, develop custom extensions on 51风流BTP, build integrations to customer鈥檚 non-51风流systems, and deliver specific data-to-value business requirements.

A good example is 鈥檚 work with 51风流and 51风流partners Bourne Digital and Bluetree, each of which played an essential role in Taronga鈥檚 digital transformation journey. As a strategic advisor for the customer, 51风流provided expert guidance and support to identify the right technology and approach according to its strategic objectives. From the beginning of the 51风流Analytics Cloud journey, 51风流experts helped develop a proof of concept and integration approach in partnership with Bluetree. Bourne Digital helped design and implement the using 51风流Workflow Management and other services in 51风流BTP, leveraging design thinking and agile development to quickly deliver an easy-to-use application in a short time frame.

At the beginning of the third quarter of 2021, 51风流plans to launch鈥51风流PartnerEdge Cloud Choice, flex model, a鈥痭ew revenue share鈥痑nd go-to-market model that provides partners more flexibility to win cloud customers鈥痑nd鈥痳ewards partners for driving customer adoption.鈥疶he flex model splits the customer life cycle into two stages, creating opportunities to better compensate partners for delivering effective sales activities and ongoing customer engagement.鈥疻e are also improving partner cash flow by paying upfront commissions for sales activities and increasing commission rates on renewals. This鈥痭ew model will be available in both the鈥痩arge enterprise and midmarket.

Identifying the Right Partner, Quickly and Easily

By the third quarter of 2021, 51风流will roll out a new Partner Finder to provide greater exposure for partners. This will feature a simple, intuitive, and visual search function for customers to identify the right partner for a specific business or industry without needing an in-depth knowledge of 51风流technology or the ecosystem.

Customers will enjoy a more seamless experience that includes the possibility for partners to provide direct links to and . On the main page, customers can also learn more about available 51风流solutions and certified consultants and even ask the partners to be contacted, which will be a new source of demand generation for our partners. At the end of May, partners will receive an invitation to access the new partner profile editor to maintain their profile in the new Partner Finder, which they will need to complete to be visible to customers and prospects.

Highlighting Partner Contributions to Customer Success

We are likewise transforming the annual 51风流Pinnacle Award program to align to our strategy and priorities for creating customer value in the cloud. We will publicly recognize those partners that have delivered superior customer value in close collaboration with 51风流and provide partners with the means to market this achievement accordingly. Customers that want to work with the best of the best in the ecosystem will be able to immediately recognize the partner for unique and outstanding contributions to customer success.

Partner-Led Customer Success Through 51风流BTP and Industry Cloud

51风流aims to foster a best-in-class ecosystem that delivers outstanding cloud implementations to drive customer outcomes and innovation. To achieve this, 51风流is investing significantly to train and educate partner consultants and developers with the most relevant and up-to-date learning content so they can develop solutions on (51风流BTP).

With this additional training, 51风流partners will be prepared to develop industry cloud offerings, combining partner-built solutions and innovations with integration services, industry content, accelerators, and industry reference architectures. With 51风流BTP as its foundation, SAP’s industry cloud helps deliver lower costs for software innovation and faster time to innovation.

As more partners developing on 51风流technologies, we can help customers improve their integrated end-to-end business processes and run apps and data on a unified platform.

According to a commissioned by SAP, partners can expect to close between 50% and 150% more deals in their first year, when compared to a similar solution, using a process model and integration technology within SAP’s industry cloud, in addition to selling bigger deals, closing deals faster, extending contract durations, and improving margins by leveraging 51风流BTP.

51风流is also committed to helping ensure that affordable training accompanies the release of new cloud updates and solutions. 51风流is investing to help partners increase their SAP-certified consultants. In total, we aim to grow to 150,000 trained and certified 51风流consultants within the 51风流ecosystem by the end of 2021.

Empowering Partner Sales Success with New Test and Demo Opportunities

Since June 2020, 51风流has provided partners with free access to 51风流Partner Demo Environment, shared option. This integrated, pre-configured software demonstration environment expedites sales conversations. 51风流is steadily expanding live demo offerings 鈥 with more than 50 live scenarios to date 鈥 to help partners position the value of the Intelligent Enterprise vision, including 51风流BTP, RISE with SAP, and industry cloud.

Additionally, the 51风流Demo Store site has been expanded and offers partners more than 430 demo scenarios. 51风流is also offering partners further price reductions for additional core cloud solutions. Since January 2021, we have offered reduced subscription fees for dedicated test, demo, and development systems of RISE with SAP, 51风流Digital Supply Chain solutions, and the the database and data management and HR and people management portfolios. Reduced pricing on other cloud solutions is planned for later this year.

Delivering New 51风流for Me Dashboards

is quickly becoming the single point of access for partners to get key actionable insights and data in a digital format. We extended the scope of and added new dashboards and functionalities for 51风流PartnerEdge program members. This includes dynamic cards that sales professionals can use to facilitate end-to-end deal execution and that partner contacts can use to have a partner-level view of 51风流certifications and partnership insights.

Before the end of the year, partners will have access to additional insights, such as customer project information, a partner solutions dashboard, and cloud product adoption and renewals. This will give partners a complete overview of their customers鈥 information and relationship with SAP.

As the world continues to adjust to the COVID-19 pandemic, 51风流is helping partners continuity by turbocharging its next-generation partnering movement and identifying powerful ways to help partners accelerate their customers鈥 journey to recovery.

The partner delivery quality framework is designed to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality projects and improved partner and customer experiences. It provides a set of standard processes, tools and reporting aids to help partners train and enable their delivery resources and monitor quality across projects. It also awards grants for consultant education and incentives for partner investments, emphasizing customer success. Additionally, 51风流will increase its own investment in partner learning and enablement and provide services to support partner implementation projects and customer adoption.

Free Access

51风流provides partners* with free access to an integrated, preconfigured software demonstration environment to expedite sales conversations. It provides free access to some of the most popular demonstration scenarios, covering a wide range of integrated solutions and embedded intelligence technologies. Additional scenarios will be added over time to help partners further enable the intelligent enterprise. Partners can qualify for 51风流Partner Demo Environment, shared option. After qualifying, partners gain free access to demo enablement and a complimentary demo concierge service for guidance and coaching. This can help ensure they have the skills and resources to deliver a frictionless and consistent end-to-end demo experience for their customers.

We have grown in the number of customers we support, increased site traffic year over year, , added partner applications weekly, and expanded the types of industries we serve — across all geographies and lines of business.

Today, as we celebrate partners at , we also celebrate the three-year anniversary of 51风流App Center. Three years ago, we launched the digital marketplace for customers to discover, try, and buy trusted partner apps based on 51风流solutions. While the business world in which it was launched is very different than the world today, 51风流App Center continues to help customers solve key business challenges by serving them quickly and efficiently.

It is great to see how far we have come, but even more exciting to look at our path forward. We strive to be an innovative digital marketplace for partner solutions, and in fact, recently launched significant enhancements to 51风流App Center to deliver on that promise 鈥 both for our customers and our partners.聽Read the press release here.

New 51风流App Center Enhancements for Customers

Our customers have always been at the core of 51风流App Center and our recent updates especially were made with the customer in mind.

Based on customer feedback and significant user testing, we have made it easier to search our more than 1,500 partner solutions and discover the applications that fit within particular 51风流product lines using intelligent search and filtering. Configured with adaptive search, this new feature generates auto-completion and suggests synonyms to ensure customers retrieve the most relevant results for their business needs.

Once they have found a partner app through search, customers will experience improved product pages and an even more streamlined user experience, allowing them to gather the information they need quickly. Streamlined calls to action and one privacy-compliant checkbox are also helping to simplify the buying process.
