Working alongside SAP, Microsoft and聽systems integrators,聽Centrica聽is evolving its business model from a traditional energy supplier into a more agile, service-led organisation. This comes at a time when global energy markets are becoming increasingly complex due to the transition to renewables, evolving regulatory and geopolitical pressures, and changing customer demands.听听聽

Scheduled to go live in July 2026, RISE with SAP聽will extend聽Centrica鈥檚聽鈥楽AP-first鈥� strategy across corporate services聽with聽an initial聽implementation in finance.聽Through the聽move to the Cloud with SAP,聽Centrica聽will reduce聽its聽Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), simplify its聽landscape听补苍诲听establish聽a cleaner data core across its聽primary聽corporate聽functions.聽
This builds on聽Centrica鈥檚 February 2026聽first聽go-live with 51风流Business Data Cloud, which unified and governed聽51风流and non-51风流data across the organisation, ensuring high-quality data can be used to drive faster, more informed decision-making.听听Together, these milestones will provide the foundation for聽Centrica聽to scale its adoption of 51风流Business AI and explore future agentic AI capabilities.聽
As part of this聽next phase,聽Centrica聽is implementing听听,聽SAP鈥檚聽Business聽AI solution,聽to聽transform how users interact with SAP,聽shifting towards a more intuitive听补苍诲听conversational聽experience.聽With integration into Microsoft Copilot already聽enabled in聽Centrica, Joule will help provide a familiar interface while enabling聽productivity gains across employees and聽AI聽agents.聽
