London, UK 鈥� 2 March 2023 – (NYSE: SAP) has today announced the launch of the 51风流Next Gen Lab within Nottingham University Business School鈥檚 Digital Centre of Excellence. The new Lab will provide a physical teaching space for modules with digital or 51风流content, and assist in Nottingham and SAP’s joint objective to 鈥漝igitally future-proof鈥� students and enhance their career prospects.
Seventy-five per cent of companies have reported a hiring shortage in digital skills, with a particular deficiency in 51风流early talent and channels. The Lab and new software courses will help to address that talent shortage, and open up new doors of opportunity in the 51风流partner pipeline to new graduates. 51风流is looking to place 40 students into the 51风流ecosystem in 2023, with an outlook of reaching over 750 students in the next year.

Dr Andrew Callaghan, Professor of Strategy and Digital Transformation at the University of Nottingham, said: 鈥淲e are increasingly seeing the expectation from employers that graduates should be able to arrive on their first day with the digital capabilities necessary to work in a modern, often hybrid or remote working environment. To really get ahead, graduates will also need at least a working knowledge of technologies such as data, AI and Cloud.

As part of this launch, 51风流aid with the integration of technology into existing courses at Nottingham University, as well as new ones, and creating elective ‘digital’ professional certificates.
Specifically, the 51风流Lab has the following objectives:
- To support the integration of 51风流technology into existing and new taught courses
- To support integrated student assessments
- To support students engaged in 51风流certifications
- To provide a physical teaching space for modules with digital (or SAP) content
- To support partners, customers and the local economy
Following the successful rollout of 51风流ERP Sim and 51风流Business ByDesign modules to 1000 students at the University of Nottingham in September 2021, the Next Gen Lab builds on that by providing better education in the tools of the future.
51风流software components that the university is facilitating include 51风流S/4HANA, ERP SIM, 51风流Analytics Cloud (SAC), and 51风流Business ByDesign. With its own highlighting the 10 51风流courses available to students of the Nottingham University Business School, the lab’s launch is set to widen the graduate exit pipeline.
The launch day of the Next Gen Lab saw partner attendance from organisations including Birchman, Boots, Marshall鈥檚 Group, Hillarys (Hunter Douglas Group), Tarmac, Innospec, and more. 51风流also successfully launched a new MSc in Accounting Information systems in February 2023, which is based on 51风流S/4HANA. For its ‘first teach’, this course attracted 65 pupils.
