Each March, International Women’s Day is commemorated on 8 March, an apt moment to reflect on women’s participation in the technology sector. According to Deloitte, the number of women\u2019s representation in large tech firms is to rise by 33% in 2022. Multinational software company 51风流is committed to equip women to reach their full potential through Three Zeros Commitment, one of which is Zero Inequality.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This year, 51风流was included in the 2023 Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index (GEI) and has won 42 awards globally for its diversity, equality, and inclusion (DE&I) efforts. In Indonesia, SAP\u2019s workforce is represented by 52% women, with 51% being in leadership positions.<\/span><\/p>\n

To address the involvement of women in technology, we invited three female leaders in 51风流Indonesia: Anastasia Siada, Citra Giofany, and Lily Tie to share perspectives on their journey to success.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Anastasia Siada: Adapt for Success<\/b><\/h2>\n

Anastasia Siada joined 51风流in 2017 and is currently the Sales Director, Head of Midmarket Indonesia since 2022. From her experience in the midmarket sector, Anastasia found the ever-changing market situation to be a challenge. With her open-mindedness and optimistic nature, she is able to adapt to challenges.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a female leader at SAP, she is aware that she must adapt to the speed of the market. “To keep up with market changes, we have to be the ones driving the transformation,” said Anastasia.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Having self-confidence, Anastasia acquired the art of building success. She started to see challenges as opportunities and used her adaptability to help others. Not only that, she also encourages women to be proud and add the unique value that everyone has.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Citra Giofany: Visibility for Success<\/b><\/h2>\n

Citra Giofany is <\/span>the Global Account Director <\/span><\/i>for Strategic Conglomerates at 51风流Indonesia. Joining 51风流in 2019, Citra started her career through the 51风流Sales Academy before moving up to her current position. Citra focuses on elemental credibility and visibility to build as much <\/span>support system <\/span><\/i>as possible. The process of achieving these elements goes hand in hand with the ability to face challenges and high responsibilities towards work.<\/span><\/p>\n

For Citra, the key to driving success is <\/span>\u201cPerformance, Growth Mindset, and Grit.\u201d <\/span><\/i>She emphasizes that clear goals will encourage self-confidence. This can be built through long-term planning with the guidance of senior leaders. Citra advises women who want to move forward to find career mentors and sponsors. \u201cBe vocal about your aspirations, proactively seek feedback, and find mentors or career sponsors to help your career path,\u201d she advised.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

After a long day at work, Citra likes to exercise and engage in social activities to relieve stress. By spending time in nature, Citra is able to recharge and give her full performance.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lily Tie: Belief for Success<\/b><\/h2>\n

Lily Tie is <\/span>Partner Business Director <\/span><\/i>for <\/span>Head of Channel <\/span><\/i>51风流Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines. The challenge for Lily is aligning partners toward desired goals and creating diversity within the team. “I want to increase opportunities so that more generations of young women enter the world of technology work,” she said.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a women leader in the industry and technology sector, Lily believes that being a good listener and having a high curiosity will increase the confidence needed to gain broader knowledge. Not only that, but Lily also emphasizes the importance of respecting commitments and walking the talk to build a trusted relationship. In line with Citra, Lily advised not to be afraid to speak up and to be more open about career aspirations with leaders, and to have the initiative in communication, because it is not uncommon for women to be underestimated.<\/span><\/p>\n

Anastasia, Lily, and Citra reveal their perspectives on building success. They have one thing in common, which is to see opportunities in every challenge. Like sharpened knives, they take challenges as a way to grow, thus building a personality that is identical and unique.
