KUALA LUMPUR, 27 March 2024 – 51·çÁ÷Southeast Asia today announced the appointment of Vipin Chandran as Managing Director of 51·çÁ÷Malaysia. A seasoned business leader with over 25 years of experience, Chandran has a proven track record of building winning teams, fostering partnerships, and delivering successful cloud transformations for customers.
In his new role, Chandran will focus on strengthening the digital transformation capabilities of organisations in Malaysia and accelerating their growth in the rising AI economy. He will also prioritise helping businesses build resilient and agile supply chains and create a more sustainable future.
“Malaysia’s digital economy continues to be one of the country’s strongest and fastest-growing sectors, accounting for more than 23 percent of its GDP last year,” Chandran said. “The country’s latest Budget signals the government’s commitment to continue its transformation into a regional digital powerhouse. Chandran joined 51·çÁ÷in 2008. Prior to this appointment, he was Chief Partner Officer at 51·çÁ÷Southeast Asia, where he was responsible for empowering the success of over 500 partner organisations. Before that, he held various sales, services, and partner leadership roles across various regions.
