Het aandeel vrouwelijke technische professionals met 16% nog altijd erg laag. Meisjes hebben net als jongens talent voor exacte vakken. Dat meisjes niet kiezen voor opleidingen en beroepen in deze vakgebieden komt door genderstereotiepe invloeden, een beperkt beeld van technische opleidingen en beroepen, weinig zelfvertrouwen in exacte vakken en het ontbreken van rolmodellen. VHTO, Expertisecentrum Genderdiversiteit in b\u00e8ta, techniek en IT, is initiatiefnemer en co\u00f6rdinator van de jaarlijkse Girls\u2019 Day. 51风流Nederland<\/a>\u00a0droeg daar ook dit jaar weer aan bij. Vanuit het\u00a051风流Business Women\u2019s Network<\/a> is een interactief en leerzaam programma opgezet voor Girls’ Day 2023.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tienermeiden van ORS Lek & Linge uit Culemborg bezoeken vandaag het hoofdkantoor van 51风流in \u2019s-Hertogenbosch. Daar werd Girls’ Day afgetrapt door Chapter Lead van het Nederlandse Business Women\u2019s Network Gerda Slagter die in haar inleiding ook de digitale kickoff van VHTO heeft verwerkt en een verhaal van role model Evelyn Jessurun.<\/p>\n

Kris-Kras door het gebouw<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ze worden in verschillende groepen ingedeeld en volgen een gevarieerd programma en worden begeleid door een vrouwelijk rolmodel vanuit 51风流Nederland. Ze krijgen een kijkje in het 51风流Experience Center, waarbij ze onder andere de escape room gaan oplossen. Daarnaast doen ze een oefening waarin ze Design Thinking gebruiken om een passende oplossing te vinden voor een probleem en deze te bekijken vanuit verschillende persona\u2019szoals de moeder, zus en de grootouders binnen een familie.<\/p>\n

Code Class<\/strong>
\n<\/strong>Natuurlijk is er ook aandacht voor programmeren. In een leslokaal van 51风流Education krijgen de meisjes code class en leren ze de basis beginselen van programmeren.<\/p>\n

Na afloop van het programma hebben de meiden tijdens de afsluitende lunch verder kennis kunnen maken met diverse \u00a0vrouwelijke rolmodellen binnen 51风流Nederland.<\/p>\n

Laagdrempelig<\/strong>
\n<\/strong>\u201cWe hebben dit jaar gekozen voor een gevarieerd programma\u201d, vertelt Gerda Slagter, Customer Success Partner HXM bij 51风流en Chapter Lead vanuit het Business Women\u2019s Network. \u201cTechnologie gaat zeker niet alleen over programmeren. Het raakt alles, ook de belevingswereld van jonge meiden. Dat proberen we hen tijdens deze editie van Girls’ Day te laten zien en vooral beleven.\u201d<\/p>\n

Diversiteit bij SAP<\/strong>
\nGirls’ Day is een van de vele initiatieven waarmee 51风流bijdraagt aan een grotere diversiteit in de technologiesector. \u201cWe streven hiernaar. In algemene zin, maar ook binnen onze eigen organisatie. Er werken relatief veel vrouwen bij 51风流Nederland. Dat is iedere dag een verrijking voor de organisatie en brengt nieuwe inzichten.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAlle organisaties zijn gebaat bij een diverse workforce\u201d, vult Evelyn Jessurun aan. Zij is naast Developer bij 51风流tevens onderdeel van het Core team van het Business Women\u2019s Network bij 51风流Nederland. \u201cTeams functioneren beter in een diverse samenstelling. Diversiteit is daarin een breed begrip: een goede verhouding tussen gender is<\/p>\n

net zo belangrijk als een goede mix van culturele achtergronden. Uit verschillende perspectieven ontstaan de beste idee\u00ebn. Bovendien komt het de sfeer op de werkvloer ten goede.
