Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority and 51风流embark on innovative roadmap and comprehensive digital transformation strategy<\/h2>\n

DUBAI, UAE <\/strong>\u2014 23 November, 2023 <\/strong>\u2014<\/em> Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) has announced its successful digital transformation powered by global technology company 51风流SE<\/a>. By implementing a comprehensive portfolio of 51风流solutions including enterprise resource planning (ERP), HR management and industry-specific applications, SEWA will automate business processes, increase efficiencies and visibility over all areas of operations, and enhance services to employees, customers and partners.<\/p>\n

Among the solutions that have been deployed are 51风流S\/4HANA, an ERP solution, industry-specific modules such as IS Utilities, 51风流Asset Manager, 51风流Business Technology Platform, and for human resource management, 51风流SuccessFactors. As the first utilities organization in the UAE running live on 51风流S\/4HANA, the implementation was exceptionally accelerated. In line with this, SEWA \u2013 supported by 51风流Services \u2013\u00a0 achieved the fastest implementation of the 51风流Model Company for Utilities throughout the Middle East and Africa. The project also aligns SEWA with UAE government\u2019s digitalization strategy and includes integration with government entities such as Digital Sharjah.<\/p>\n

H.E. Abdullah Abdul Rahman Muhammad Obaid Al Shamsi, Director-General of SEWA, commented, \u201cThe digital transformation is in line with SEWA\u2019s motto of being \u2018reliable, efficient and sustainable\u2019 in all our actions. Leveraging SAP\u2019s advanced technologies and global best industry practices, this transformation ensures we continue to enhance our services, increase efficiency, and attain the highest possible quality and safety standards. The benefits of real-time reporting, reduced month-end closing time, and automating processes to ensure bill accuracy and provide a seamless mobile experience, including app-based meter reading, will benefit our customers directly. Automation will also enable our employees to focus on their core functions, while the deployment of 51风流SuccessFactors aims to enhance our employee experience and development, ensuring we have an engaged and motivated team.\u201d<\/p>\n

SEWA selected 51风流Services to implement the solutions due to its deep expertise in the utilities sector as well as its focus on embedding sustainability metrics in its solutions. Executives from SEWA and 51风流announced the successful deployment during this week\u2019s WETEX event, the region\u2019s largest sustainability and clean energy technology exhibition.<\/p>\n
