Joule launched in听51风流SuccessFactors solutions last fall听and is now embedded into 51风流S/4HANA Cloud solutions and others including 51风流Build and 51风流Integration Suite. Further expansion by year-end will include 51风流Ariba and 51风流Analytics Cloud solutions. At Sapphire, 51风流also announced听plans to further broaden Joule鈥檚 scope听by integrating it with Microsoft Copilot to surface even richer insights. Bangalore 鈥 (NYSE: SAP) today announced that multiple 51风流cloud solutions are expected to become available on a local India-based data center from mid-2024.

In light of the regulatory requirements for data processing and storage affecting different segments of 51风流customers, Indian businesses are looking to SAP鈥檚 new presence on an India-based data center to help to foster and ensure an environment of trust, resilience and risk mitigation for their mission-critical business applications.

Expanding the current portfolio of cloud solutions available in India, including and , 51风流SuccessFactors and 51风流Ariba will be hosted and offered to customers from within the sovereign borders of India.

As organizations work overtime to improve their customers鈥 experience in today鈥檚 highly technological world, it is easy to forget that digital is merely a means to an end. The raison d鈥檈虃tre of top-performing brands had always revolved around establishing an emotive connection with customers. But how can we give customers exactly what they want, when they want it, whilst simultaneously humanizing the gap between digital actions and our heartstrings?

We intuitively understand that genuine customer experience is an affair of the heart. Much like the friends we love to spend time with, we want to hang out with a brand that is trustworthy, empathetic, generous, and shares our values and concern for others. We are attracted to brands that take care of us and of what matters for us, not someone who only ever calls to ask for favours.

At the core, this is why 51风流Customer Experience APJ built the 听campaign. Pinned on one fundamental question: what kind of (CX) would outlast any crisis and thrive in the future? They believe it is the kind of CX that comes from the heart, from companies that have a greater purpose and focus on things beyond profit and loss鈥攖hings like people, the planet, and prosperity.

At the heart of this initiative is research; they wanted to hear directly from the mouth of the customers, and they engaged their Qualtrics research team to conduct the survey. The main objective is to find out about what consumers expect from the brands they buy from, and more importantly, if the experiences they have had, meet their expectations.

In total, they surveyed close to 6,000 consumers across the Asia Pacific (APAC) region to find out more about what people care about, mainly how their views of brands correlate with their spending, as well as what matters most when it comes to customer experience. Questions were posed to customers across a range of age groups in Australia, Singapore, Japan, South Korea (Korea), India, Malaysia, and Thailand.

Depending on the country, respondents were asked questions on a total of six different industries, including supermarkets, telecommunication providers, hotels and entertainment, and consumer goods retailers dealing with fashion, electronics, and furniture.

The campaign was launched on 5 May 2021, in a record time of just twelve weeks compared to the six-month minimum required to build an integrated, multi-touch campaign as such. It has garnered close to 100 media coverage across APAC and an impressive amount of pipeline to the business. The campaign is still running and full results are expected to come through by the end of this year.

For this effort, 51风流Customer Experience APJ received the 鈥Singapore Brand Experience of the Year – Technology鈥 award in the recently concluded Asian Experience Awards, presented by Asian Business Review. The awards programme recognizes the ingenious initiatives of creative companies delivering meaningful brand experiences to their stakeholders in all industries in Asia.

Mumbai 鈥 27 July, 2021 – With the COVID-19 pandemic accelerating the online consumer demands across the globe, a 鈥淗eart Matters鈥 study announced by 51风流shows that consumers in India (80%) value a modern shopping experience across brands and expect them to make the necessary technology investments to deliver great experiences.

The study, which was conducted by , surveyed 982 Indian consumers to understand their expectations and experiences with supermarkets and fashion brands. The results unveils that while great customer experience is important, so is thing of the bigger picture, such as sustainability, ethical conduct, and prosperity of the community. The study showed that 鈥楩补颈谤苍别蝉蝉鈥 is of paramount importance to Indian consumers, with respect to the rights and welfare of workers (84%) and ethical treatment of suppliers (81%) at the top of the list.

Providing a better online experience

Convenience matter greatly to Indian consumers. Having a modern online shopping experience, ease of tracking orders and a smooth experience are top considerations. The study validates this with 81% Indian respondents prefer shopping online with brands that have service options that allow them to transact how they like (online or face-to-face). While 85% prioritise delivery options that are both timely and accurate, as well as ease of making purchase across channels.

Ensuring data security and solving consumer queries

Data security is a major concern and of utmost importance for Indian consumers when shopping online. About 84% respondents say they want to know and have full transparency when it comes to their personal data being used online. When it came to resolving queries on online shopping and e-commerce websites 81% respondents expect brands to respond within 24 hours to address their queries.

Focused on Sustainability and healthy living

With sustainability being one of the hottest topics in the country, Indian consumers (72%) are shifting their mindset by focusing on brands who have a strong emphasis on sustainability and ethics in sourcing and selling their products.

Indian consumers are also placing high importance on healthy food, with one of the highest number of respondents 79% preferring local organic produce from brands.

It鈥檚 important to give back

As the ongoing pandemic has left a deep mark on Indian consumers, expectations for brands to come up with more innovative ways to serve customers and implement better safety and hygiene measures are high. Giving back to the local community, either through charities, donations, fundraising or foundations is also ranked higher (71%) by Indian consumers.

鈥淚ndian consumers are clear about what they want in their relationship and their association with brands now more than ever. Every business had their set of challenges as customers started migrating online. It is apparent that the shift to digital has propelled brands to deliver an optimised and fulfilling experience to consumers across channels. While it鈥檚 positive that brands have adapted quickly to the pandemic by tapping on digital tools and turning to e-commerce, customers still expect brands to deliver on the basics 鈥 this means providing them with positive experiences and swift resolution of issues. It is sobering to know that despite all the efforts businesses have put into digitalisation over the past year, fundamentals around customer centricity are still not being met. There is clearly an urgent need for brands to humanise the gap between digital actions and the heartstrings of consumers,鈥 said Peggy Renders, General Manager & Senior Vice President, 51风流Customer Experience, Asia Pacific & Japan, who was recently appointed to her current role in January 2021.

Over the past years, working styles have been drastically changing in many industries with mobile becoming the prevailing experience and a critical driver of process innovation. Data generated by intelligent, connected devices will reshape the core processes of many industries. During the course of a workday, users encounter numerous so-called micro-experiences that differ based on their work and responsibilities. These individual interactions are the basis for completing daily tasks and can be repetitive or constantly changing. Think of situations like approving a requisition, helping customers, reviewing financial statements, submitting a leave request, or planning a trip.

To serve different role types best, 51风流is using value engineering to define a mobile-first portfolio that combines similar functionality of different apps and helps ensure the right user experience, including desktop and web experiences for infrequent mobile users as needed. Each work context is being addressed with pre-built integration, on-device intelligence, and highly tuned workflows and collaboration capabilities.

Take a warehouse clerk as an example. In this role, mobile solutions need to support all daily tasks, ranging from unloading to picking, packing, and shipping. Business transformation is a necessity. It was Heraclitus, the Greek Philosopher, who said 鈥淭he only thing that is constant is change.鈥 Even though Heraclitus said this around 500 BC, his words are relevant even today鈥攁nd much more in business. What adds to the inevitable change is the speed at which things are changing.

In the past, business was able to handle one or two simultaneous changes but looking into today鈥檚 change management dashboard, it keeps evolving. In different dimensions that results in more complexity to handle and adjust within the business.

Such diverse business changes mandate business transformation to survive. Business leaders equipped with digital acumen have an even more strategic role to play for driving this transformation.

Per the听, the average lifespan for a company is down to about 10 years before the company is bought, acquired, or liquidated. The companies that have been able to survive for decades have done it by being agile, flexible, cost-efficient, and innovative. Making both the right decisions at right time and business transformation at the right time are key.

Seventy-nine percent of business leaders agree that the ability to connect processes across systems and ecosystems allows organizations to improve customer experience and streamline business operations and reduced total cost of ownership (TCO).

Business Anticipation

Leaders know that digital disruption is not something to watch out for; it鈥檚 something to lead. This is why 72% say that rather than waiting to be disrupted by competitors, their organizations are actively disrupting their own sectors and processes. Being able to continuously invent new approaches and implement them rapidly through technology is essential to lead the race.

By 2024, more than 50% of all IT spending will go toward digital transformation and innovation鈥攗p from 31% in 2018 and growing at a compound annual rate of 17% as outlined by听听in October 2019
