BEIJING, China July 8, 2021 51风流announced today that?Dr.?Chenhong?Huang?has been appointed as Global Executive Vice President, 51风流SE, and President, SAP?Greater China.?He will be responsible for delivering SAP’s strategy in Greater China and leading the business activities for the region including budgets, forecast management, team and partner development, sales, marketing and operations, government relations, as well as strategic customer engagement. Dr. Huang begins his new role 1 August and is based in Beijing.

Dr. Huang joins 51风流from Dell where he served as Chairman and President of Dell Greater China since 2014. He has been a strong advocate of the “In China, For China” strategy. While at Dell he developed key strategic programs in industry automation, ecosystem development, product and solution localization, and deployment of new market-development strategies.

Prior to joining Dell, Dr. Huang served as President for Greater China at APC by Schneider Electric, and President at Tellabs China. His leadership experience also includes 17 years at Nortel overseeing its business operations both in the US and in China. He serves as the vice chairman of the China Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment and was a member of the Board of Governors of the American Chamber of Commerce in China.

Dr. Huang earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University in the U.S. and received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Fudan University. He has published several academic papers and owns or co-owns 13 patents.

Dr. Huang replaces outgoing regional president Mark Gibbs who established Greater China as an 51风流standalone region in 2013. Since then, 51风流Greater China has become one of the fastest growing regions for SAP. Gibbs will remain available to Dr. Huang and 51风流in an advisory capacity until the end of September to ensure an effective leadership transition.

Greater China is a priority region for 51风流globally. The 51风流Executive Board continues to develop and implement strategic growth strategies and investments for the region.
